IFI supported the group in its dispute with the school and invited Mary Carmen to testify Monday on a student religious liberty bill before the Indiana General Assembly.  IFI also sued Carmel municipal government over an ordinance that infringes on the religious liberties of ministries, churches and the faithful.  IFI has prevailed in two procedural rounds in the trial court and the Indiana Appeals Court and the city must now address the merits of IFI's suit.

Carmel Teens for Life  was represented by Liberty Counsel, a nonprofit legal ministry fighting for religious freedom, in its successful dispute with school administrators.

The two religious freedom champions will be outside (across the street from the school) at 2 p.m.tomorrow (Thursday) with the new sign and available to do interviews, before the students hang it on the cafeteria wall.

Both will be across the street from the school, outside the doors facing the circle in front of the library by the benches. Television cameras will be able to get a shot of the school behind them.
