SUPPORT: Senate Bill 143 – “Parental Rights”

This bill would enshrine in state law that parents have a fundamental right to: raise their children, pass along and live out their faith to their children, educate their children, and direct the healthcare of their children. 

SUPPORT: House Bill 1321 – “Social Media Use by Minors”

This measure provides that a social media service may not allow an Indiana resident who is a minor to hold an account with a social media service unless that social media service receives written consent to the minor’s use of the social media service from the minor’s parent or guardian.

SUPPORT: Senate Bill 373 – “Age Appropriate Content”

When the State Department of Education reviews materials for recommendation it must include the age appropriateness of the material.

SUPPORT: Senate Bill 442 – “Instruction Concerning Human Sexuality”

This measure would require school boards to approve any teaching on human sexuality before it is included in the curriculum and taught to students, and the material must be posted online “in a conspicuous place” so parents can access it.

SUPPORT: House Bill 1669 – “Stop Drag Shows for Kids”

This bill would strengthen public decency laws and prohibit children from attending adult-oriented performances such as drag shows.

SUPPORT: House Bill 1348 – “Fairness for Homeschool Graduates”

This piece of legislation would prohibit state employers, colleges, and universities from requiring prospective employees or students to take extra skill tests if they were homeschooled. The bill establishes that a high school diploma or credential issued by a nonaccredited nonpublic school is legally sufficient to demonstrate that the recipient has met the requirements to complete high school.

SUPPORT: Senate Bill 239 –  “Child Welfare Provider Protections”

This piece of legislation would prohibit the state from discriminating against adoption agencies, foster parents, or adoptive parents based on their religious beliefs.

SUPPORT: House Bill 1195 – “Pornographic Material”

This bill would expand protections against pornographic material available to students, including instructional materials and content available in school libraries and classrooms.


SUPPORT: Senate Bill 235 – “Limitations On Diversity, Equity, And Inclusion”

This measure would limit Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs by prohibiting state agencies, educational institutions, and health licensing boards from spending money on DEI initiatives.

SUPPORT: Senate Bill 286 – “Nondiscrimination In Employment And Education”

This statute would prohibit K-12 schools from teaching or promoting to students the idea that “one race, sex, ethnicity, religion, or national origin is inherently superior or inferior to another.” It would also restrict state educational institutions and other agencies from running DEI programs, and bar state funding from institutions that require or advocate for DEI training.

SUPPORT: Senate Bill 441 – “Definition of Sex and Gender; Birth Certificates

This bill would establish that the terms “sex” and “gender” are synonymous under state code and would require state departments to reverse birth certificates on which the gender has been changed by court order back to the originating sex and reissue the birth certificate.  Would also prevent trans activists from changing birth certificates in the future.

SUPPORT: House Bill 1341 – “Birth Certificate Information”

This legislation would ensure that the gender listed on an individual’s birth certificate and permanent record made from the birth certificate cannot be changed.

SUPPORT: House Bill 1342 – “Use of Public Restrooms”

This bill would make it a Class B misdemeanor if a man or woman “knowingly or intentionally enters a restroom that is designated to be used” by the opposite sex.

SUPPORT: Senate Bill 479 – “Transportation of Minors for Prohibited Procedures”

This bill would make it a Level 6 felony to assist a child in procuring any gender transition procedures across state lines without parental consent.

SUPPORT: House Bill 1456 – “Men in Women’s Prisons”

This bill would attempt to protect women in women’s prisons from having gender-confused men live with them.

SUPPORT: House Bill 1041 – “Women’s College Sports”

This bill would require public collegiate-level schools and athletic programs to set clear standards for male sports, female sports, and coeducational sports.  It would extend current k-12 protections for female athletes in Indiana to the collegiate level.  

SUPPORT: House Bill 1173 – “Ban on University Practices”

This law would prevent discrimination at public universities and ensure that “the race, color, or ethnicity of a student or applicant of a postsecondary educational institution” is not used in certain decision-making processes.


SUPPORT: House Bill 1102 – “Faith-based Preschool Programs”

This statute removes language restricting school corporations from entering into a contract with a religiously affiliated nonprofit preschool program. 

SUPPORT: House Bill 1231– “Display of the Ten Commandments”

This piece of legislation would require schools to place a durable poster or framed picture representing the text of the Ten Commandments in each school library and classroom. A similar bill was passed in Louisiana in 2024.

SUPPORT: House Bill 1138 – “Employment and Vaccinations”

This bill would fortify employees’ rights to refuse immunizations required by their employer, with a civil penalty of $5,000 per violation.


SUPPORT: House Bill 1524 – “Tax Credit for Pro-Life Nonprofits”

This measure would provide a state tax credit for contributions made to nonprofit organizations that provide pregnancy resources beginning in 2026.

SUPPORT: House Bill 1528 – “Stop De-Banking Conservative Christian Organizations”

This bill prohibits financial institutions from discriminating against consumers based on their “social credit score,” which is “an analysis that considers a consumer’s religious or free speech rights, business activities, or stance on issues like diversity programs.”

SUPPORT: House Bill 1565 – “Pro-Family Tax Credit”

This provision would allow qualified taxpayers to deduct contributions to pro-family nonprofit organizations from their state taxes if those organizations provide family support services. 

SUPPORT: House Bill 1636 – “Dynamic Choice Scholarships”

This legislation would provide families eligible for a choice scholarship with greater flexibility to use the funds outside a traditional brick-and-mortar school.

OPPOSE: Senate Bill 293 – “Relocation Of Riverboat Gambling Operation”

This measure would allow the riverboat located in the city of Rising Sun to relocate its gaming operations to a casino in the city of New Haven.

SUPPORT: Senate Bill 166/House Bill 1026 – “Marijuana Advertising”

These measures establish guidelines for restricting advertising products containing marijuana or marijuana businesses in the state of Indiana.

SUPPORT: Senate Bill 287 – “Transparency in School Board Elections”

This measure would create primary elections for school boards, in the same manner as candidates for all other elected offices are nominated.
